better known in the Zimdancehall fraternity as Qounfuzed, has released a track
attacking the Zimdancehall awards. In this controversial song he uses poetic
license and sarcasm to communicate his dismay for the Zimdancehall awards. According
to Qounfuzed, the organizers of the awards have not recognized him despite the
fact that his music has been causing a lot of brouhaha in the streets, and his
musical videos are of better quality than some of the videos nominated in the
best video category.
A lot of people on Facebook
have been expressing mixed feelings concerning the awards. Some have been
questioning the criteria used in coming up with the nominations. Interestingly,
most of the people who have been attacking the awards are mainly:artists, who
feel that they have been side-lined or fans of certain artists who are against
the “maninja” camp who feel “the ninja president” is being overrated.
“Ma coward mandinyima ka award”is the intro to the 2minutes 56 seconds long
track by Qounfuzed. The chorus to the song is a mocking laughter. His
perspicacity can be identified by his use of poetic license (The liberty taken by an artist or writer in
deviating from conventional form or fact to achieve a desired effect). For
example he said “Pandichazoroora ndipo
pandichazoroora” meaning when I marry that is when I will finally rest!
He also seemed to be
killing two birds with one stone. While attacking the awards he also seems to
be attacking his arch rival Seh Calaz though he does not do so openly.“Rimwe ndichituka risingapindure” this seem
to be directed at Seh Calaz who besides being ‘dissed’ by Qounfuzed has not even
replied to any of his tracks.In the same verse he mentions that you can’t
compare me to someone who is always in the same clothes that he was wearing on
his video. In the third verse Qounfuzed goes on to say that “…rava rechitatu verse…chero kukapisa handidzokoredze verse…ndipe
T-shirt kwete ka yellow net…”This stanza seems to be referring to Seh Calaz
who has a video wearing a yellow verse with a net material ‘yellow net.’ He has also
released a track ‘mukanwa mako mukunhuwa’ a reply to ‘mumota menyu mukubvira’

Qounfuzed rose to fame
after he did a track with Freeman, he also has also worked with Ricky Fire,
Soul Jah Love, Legend Elly,Stunner, T Gonz to mention but
just a few. 2013 was avery good year for the youthful chanter, he released
‘kukusuwa’ on the ‘Zimbo Flavour’ riddim which became an instant hit. He also
did a collaboration with Desmond Chideme better known in the music circles as
Stunner, the track was accompanied by a video.Former pole dancer Beverly ‘Bev’ Sibanda choreographed
for him on a video for his track titled ‘baby it’s raining’. One of his video
‘dear Tanya’ made it to the annual ZBC top 50 videos of the year.
